Large Turnout Expected for Main Event and Charity Tournament

This weekend, Full Tilt Poker players will compete in the final tournaments of the Full Tilt Poker Online Poker Series with at least $5.7 million of $16 million in prize money still to be won. FTOPS XIII runs August 5th to 16th, offering 25 individual tournaments.

Each FTOPS tournament is hosted by a Full Tilt Poker professional. Patrik Antonius, a member of Team Full Tilt and one of the most widely recognized players in poker, will host Saturday’s Two-Day Event. Its unique structure offers two days of play, 6-Max tables and a guaranteed prize pool of at least $2 million. The 9th running of this event kicks off onSaturday, August 15th at 14:00 ET with a buy-in of $2,500 + $120. 795 players entered the last Two-Day Event and the winner took home over $460K.

The biggest event in FTOPS XIII, the $2.5 million guaranteed Main Event, starts on Sunday, August 16th at 14:00 ET.Gus Hansen, a prominent Team Full Tilt Poker pro with over $7.1 million in career tournament earnings, will host this No Limit Hold ‘em tournament, which has a buy-in of $500 + $35.
